“We have begun to live in a reality where comparison and competition won't make us succeed”- anonymous. Society has two ways the “right” way, which is fitting in and by fitting in it means being like everyone else or the “wrong” way being an individual but being looked at different. Is it a good idea to alter yourself to fit in? No. Changing yourself is leaving your principles just to fit into a group of people that you will probably not see in the next five years. I disagree with changing yourself to fit in because we are all individuals and have the right of freedom and expression.

Everybody is someone different, if we try to become like others imagine the chaos will occur. We can't let conformity be the way we live our lives. We need to be able to express how we feel because expression lets us show who we are.
However, people will say otherwise, that conformity is a way that they can fit in. People change by their new environment and society. Although that may be true that sometimes you need to change when something new comes around. Changing is materialistic things not your personality and that's what most people do. They change themselves mentally and physically because that’s what’s expected of you. Although it doesn't matter what people expect from you it's what you expect from yourself. I don't think people know the real you when you change yourself mentally.
Society will judge us on anything we do, so why not express who we are? Society cannot be the place where we hide away from what makes us unique.
