The purpose of management is to create profit through providing a gift card service that builds a connection between retailers and consumers. Management holds an interest in all business activities because it provides them with income, and also allows them to determine how to expand the business. Management will oversee all the business functions and assure that protocols are being met. Additionally, it is responsible for creating partnerships with a variety of companies and communicating information to external stakeholders.

Retail Stores
Retail stores are a significant stakeholder as they play a key role in the success of Giftlet. This is because the gift cards being sold, merged, and traded, are all affiliated with a retail store. Additionally, retail stores have an interest in the app as it can allow them to build connections with customers through advertisements and promotional offers through the retail newsfeed. Retailers may be concerned about the listing fee and advertising fees they have to pay to have advertisements on the app. Overall, retailers will view the app as an opportunity to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

Customers will have an interest in Giftlet because it will provide them with a convenient mechanism to carry out retail related functions through their smartphones. Customers will be able to maximize their experience with various retailers by using the different functions on the app, such as the gift card merging option. Additionally, customers will not have to worry about going to a physical destination for the purchase of gift cards as they will be able to do it easily on their phones. Essentially, customers play a significant role in the growth of this business. Overall, customers will have an interest in the app as its numerous unique features can satisfy their retail
