"Gifted Hands" Formal Critique

Gifted Hands was filmed on February 7, 2009, by Thomas Carter. Based on a true story that was written by Benjamin Carson himself, "Gifted Hands" was the new inspiration for young adults or perhaps children to pursue their desired career, but also keep in mind that there will be obstacles that'll be challenging while on the journey of their dreams. Benjamin knew how difficult it would be and how far he would have to travel let alone, he was African American so racial discrimination was heavily enforced by those democrats who were not at a hierarchy. The usage of flashbacks gives us a real-life perceptive of how teenagers act; rebellious, stubborn and especially invisible. Carson developed the understanding that being cool doesn't help him do what he wants because he was either being toyed with, by the guys he temporarily looked up too, and he became often dumbfounded about his actions. In the early years of a teenager, they are convinced that life is hard, and they cannot be compared to other kids the same age who may be more fortunate.
