Bearing all these points in mind, we may assume that although the filmmaker loses some of his power regarding the amount of material viewed and the order of the sections selected by the viewer in his interactive documentary, the audience’s control is still pretty limited. In fact, the director is still the one choosing the knowledge and content he displays, but also the one knowing the exact schema of his work.
