Giant Beast Research Paper

The antler of the giant beast impacted me on the head before I could react. It was my ninth trip to Sweden and my grandpa took me on a trip into the depths of a forest. After sitting behind him for a fifteen minute four-wheeler ride, we finally reached our destination. We were following my god-father, brother, and my dad to the perfect area to see moose. Disappointingly, my grandfather made me stay on the four-wheeler because I was too young and it was too dangerous for me to be near these big and aggressive creatures. As the sun beat down on my head I absorbed the fresh smell of pine trees and horse manure. Then suddenly I heard a big crunch of tree branches and leaves, and I looked and saw a moose coming our way. My heart started to race. After the moose checked us out for awhile we assumed it would leave, but instead it kept walking towards us. It got closer and closer to me and then before I knew it I was face to face with this giant and dangerous beast. I looked over at my family and they all looked scared out of their minds, but my grandfather calmly whispered, …show more content…
I was introduced to all types of animals in many different situations: riding horses, milking cows, sheering sheep, hunting deer, and cleaning alpacas. This created a sense of compassion for me because I learned how to take care of a variety of animals and I learned how to react quickly to new situations. I discovered that each animal has a different behavior and needs unique treatment. I knew that when I grew up I wanted to work with animals but I never knew what I exactly wanted to so. I luckily had the opportunity to help a cow give birth and to aid in a tumor surgery on a dog. On the other hand, I also had to watch over and groom animals. Experiences like these helped me learn that I wanted to work with surgery and stray away from basic animals

By age fourteen, I found myself obsessed with the channel Animal Planet. When I came home from school, all I did was view the surgical procedures and watch the clinical interactions. I was mesmerized with the idea that you could save the life of an animal and relieve the pain of an owner. Although, not every patient and owner has the same happy ending, I understand as long as you did everything possible to provide the best outcome, you are already a hero for trying. At age eighteen…

My extinct animal is the megalodon. Not only was the megalodon the biggest prehistoric shark that ever lived,it was the largest marine predator in the history of the planet, vastly outweighing both the modern Great White Shark and ancient reptiles like Liopleurodon and Kronosaurus. Megalodon had a diet befitting an apex predator, feasting on the prehistoric whales that swam the earth's oceans during the Pliocene and Miocene epochs, but also chowing down on dolphins, squids, fish, and even giant turtles (whose shells, as tough as they were, couldn't hold up against 10 tons of biting force) Some of the traits of a megalodon is that they have triangular shape, robust structure, large size, fine serrations, and visible V-shaped neck. Megalodon…
