Gia Allemand: A Case Study

Gia Allemand, passed away this morning on August 14, 2013 in Mercy Hospital after she was removed from life support.

The 29 year old former Bachelor contestant committed suicide by hanging. She was found alive last night and brought in to Mercy Hospital by her ex-boyfriend Ryan Anderson.
We here at Mercy Hospital did all we could, but sadly had to report to her family that Gia had suffered critical loss of brain and organ function. At which point the family decided to remove Gia from life support.

Gia suffered from loneliness and depression and that might be the cause of her actions. Depression is a highly treatable illness and no one should have to go thought their pain by themselves. There for we encourage the public to reach out to the
