Ghost In The Guitar Paul Shipton

The book that I read was called “Ghost in the Guitar” by Paul Shipton. It was first published in 2000. The main characters of this book were Katy and her boyfriend Tom. They both wanted to be famous. They had a band with their friends, and the name of the band was Steel City.
At the beginning, Katy and her boyfriend Tom played pop music with their friend in a band they called Steel City. Katy played electric piano and wrote some their songs, and Tom was a guitarist. Aruna played bass guitar in the band and was singer, and Danny was the drummer. They dreamt of playing in a big crowd. They did some small gigs in different places. One time they did a small gig. Then Tom surprised them; he sent a cassette of their songs to the radio station so they could be chosen to play in a Battle of the Bands competition. It was a big competition in their area. He was not like before, he was good at the guitar. Then Katy wanted to know what the problem was. She asked the person who worked in the store and some other people. After that she found something in the guitar, which was the ghost, and it would hurt Tom if they won. We know the guitar made Tom a good guitarist, but also it made him a weird person. The night of the competition, they arrived to that place. The bands started to play. When they finished the judges could not decide between two bands, Steel City and another band, so they had to play again. Then Tom went alone to play without his band. Katy ran to him and pushed him, and then he fell with his guitar. She was afraid that the ghost would hurt her, but then he left Tom’s body and Tom was back to normal.
