In Burton’s portrayal of Hamlet during the ghost scene, the character of Hamlet and the ghost of King Hamlet are more highlighted than the rest of the clips. For example, the lack of scenery and props on stage emphasizes Hamlet’s body language and Hamlet’s voice shift that ranges from thunderous yelling to a moderate conversational tone. In addition, the lack of props displays how Hamlet can roam freely and shows how Hamlet has more free thoughts.
