While doing some research for this week's assignment, I was a bit surprised to learn that Ghandi was an activist in South Africa. I always associated Ghandi with India so this was new to me. Also, thank you for providing this additional information. I had no idea that he married at such a young age, this is shocking. While checking out the website you provided above, I also found another site with some additional information about Ghandi. For example, for such an outspoken and courageous man, as a child he was actually very shy and could not stand to talk to people. Also, at the age of 60 he was able to walk 241 miles which is incredible.
