How to get into College starting your junior year Are you a junior starting your first semester of your junior year? Are starting to think about college and college applications? Are you getting ready to take those standardize tests? Are you thinking about how you are going to get into your dream school? If you are you have come to the right place. Here are some easy steps you can take now that will help get you into college easily.
First, you need to realize that your junior year is not that big of a deal. Your junior year is not your most important year academically. Do no study too much for the standardize tests. The Standardize tests are not that important in getting into college. It is only one part of getting into college. Do not bother studying for the ACT or SAT because the classes you have taken at school has prepared you enough to do just fine on these tests. You do not need to take any practice tests because you took the PSAT, and that is all the practice you need for these tests. Stay up late watching Netflix the night before the test because you know you will do just fine with 3 hours of sleep. On the day of the test only bring mechanical pencils because they help the machine grade your test faster. When you start taking the test and the questions get hard just start guessing. If you get tired of taking the test just start drawing pictures with the letters on the scantron. It is ok to guess your way through the test because you have plenty of time to take the tests over again during your senior …show more content…
Prepare as much as you can for the ACT and SAT now. If you take the test seriously this year you will not be stressed about it next year. Your junior year is important which can be stressful to think about, but it is also is a very fun year. You just have to balance your school work and preparing for the ACT and the SAT, and your social life. Do not put so much pressure on yourself to do well on the standardize tests. All you can do is your best and your best should be good enough. All in all, focus during your junior year so that you can have a stress free senior year. Work hard and have fun and it will pay off when you open that acceptance letter in January your senior, from the school you always dreamed of
