When asked, what is gerontology, i assumed it was the study of the elderly people but i was incorrect because it is the study of the aging process, including physical, mental, and social changes. Every individual goes through these changes one way or another and it can either affect them in a positive or negative way. Aging does not happen overnight but it is a continuous process that begins when you are born and continues until you die. The changes of aging however begins as one enters middle adulthood ( 40 to 60 years old). The aging process differs individually but I will be comparing J.K aging with the normal process.
