Improved Essays
Once upon a time there was a desert full of color. Trees grew in the darkness of night, then flowers flourished the next morning. In this desert there were two tribes along the river, one on the left and one on the right. Each tribe had a chief and the two chief’s names were Geronimo and Sitting Bull. Geronimo’s daughter was Awinita and Sitting Bull’s son was Alo. One day, Awinita was picking flowers along the river when she bumped into Alo who was fishing. As soon as their eyes met, it became true love at first sight! Each day they would visit each other by the river and they would talk for hours. Since they grew up in tribes across from each other, Alo and Awinita became close very quickly.
After an interminable six years of talking by the river, Alo decided to man up and ask Awinita if she would marry him! Awinita couldn’t deny it and rejoiced with a yes. When

Whoever won the fight would choose to pick their children’s future! Boom, crack, and snap were the noises that came from the terrific fight, hits, punches, and kicks were fired at each chief. As they were fighting it caused the sky to grow dark and loud noises were coming from above! It was thunder! Then a shrieking, powerful light came from the sky and it was the lightning. Both men began to huff and puff because they grew tired quickly.
Demanding a truce, the men stopped and looked at their children! Fighting didn’t help anyone and it caused the children to feel hurt inside. Geronimo and Sitting Bull apologized to their kids. Everything was peaceful and it began to rain. As the rain came to a halt, out of the corner of a cloud, shone a rainbow out of the sky! The rainbow smiled at each individual! From that day forward, the couple promised to treat each other with respect all the days they shall live! Sometimes there can be thunder and lightning or evil, but in the end it will always calm down and have a beautiful end
