Our data from trial one and trial two did not support our hypothesis because the group without space did not germinate at all during the course of our experiment. The seeds that were spaced further apart saw more germination. In our first trial, our group monitored our seeds over the course of five days, Monday through Friday. In this experiment we only used a total of eight seeds. We spaced the seeds one inch apart from each other except for the group without space. On the first three days, the seeds with space saw no germination as well as the seeds without. On days four and five however, there was some development of the seeds with space.
