After the United States suffered the Great Depression in 19299, the whole world felt the economic failure. Germany, Italy, and Japan began building their armies to provide jobs. Germany’s attack in World War 1 caused the Treaty Of Versailles to come into play, forbidding extreme militarism. By expanding Germany’s military violated that treaty. Japan also was looking to fix their economic problems by expanding into the pacific islands. Germany was looking to take control of all of Europe. Already sending his navy across the nation. The two countries need for power was running the armies, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. Killing thousands of Americans.
