Georgia's Peaches-Personal Narrative

Georgia remembers the day she found Peaches. She was outside of her apartment changing a flat tire in the pouring rain. It was a typical day, she was running late for work and rushed outside with half her hair done and one shoe off. She was greeted with pouring rain in the middle of a cold January and a flat tire. "Oh, great," Georgia sighed. This was the cherry on top of her already bad morning. She quickly put her jacket over her head and headed to the trunk to get the tools she needed to changer her tire. After a long agonizing time trying to jack her car up and unscrew the bolts on her tire, she finally got her tire off. "YES," She exclaimed to herself, she then did a little dance in celebration. It was then that she heard a faint 'meow' in the background of the all the rain. She looked all …show more content…
She left him there for a second, while she grabbed some dry clothes and her cell phone. She dialed work and put the phone between her ear and her shoulder, while she tried to balanced making sure the kitten didn't wander off and attempting to change her wet clothes. After making some excuse to her boss, she hung up the phone, toweled off, and changed. She looked down at this tiny little ball of fluff and knew that this kitten found her for a reason. "You're mine now, I guess," She mumbled to the kitten. He replied with a soft chirp, curled up in the towel, and fell asleep. *** It was a few months later and Georgia and the kitten, now named Peaches, were always together. Everywhere Georgia walked in her apartment, Peaches followed. When she went to bed, Peaches fell asleep curled into her. Everything between the two were going great. Peaches obviously loved Georgia and vice-versa. Georgia would leave her friends and family early just so she can go cuddle with her cat.
