My home town is a region where the idea of a college degree can be discouraged and frowned upon. Individuals are told to stay home and not venture out into the great world, depriving them of experiences and knowledge that is out there. This is what motivates me to get an education at Georgia Tech, because I believe, with what I achieve at Georgia Tech, I can inspire those people to break from the norm and become adventurers in the pursuit of knowledge.
