People have always brought up the thought provoking question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I always used to say a superhero or the president. At that age, the military and being a part of medicine never crossed my mind. Now, those pathways are what I truly want to achieve. I have a strong passion for our country and offering aid where it’s needed. The Georgia Military scholarship is the helping hand that I deserve to assist me in becoming who I want to be.

I was on the wrestling team in high school where I learned what hard work was. When the coach was pushing us past our limits, I wasn’t thinking, “Am I going to make it through this?” I treated it as a way for me to create a stronger version of myself. Whatever is thrown at me, at any level of difficulty, I accept it and treat it as a challenge to overcome. I deserve the Georgia Military Scholarship because I strive to work hard and have a desire to see what I can achieve at my full potential, both mentally and physically. I still have a lot to learn, and this opportunity will allow me to continue.

I also have a strong desire to be in the medical field. I would like to help people in any way I can, and selfless service is my main goal. Being a part of the military and the medical field will collectively let me fulfill my moral obligations to help Citizens in need. In high school, I joined health Health Occupations Students of America. We learned leadership, team problem solving, first aid, and general well-being. We also participated in many community service opportunities, including our blood drive that our organization hosts
