George Youngdahl's Life

Decent Essays
George Youngdahl has taught me I can do anything no matter the circumstances. They way he lives is how I want to live my life. He came from nothing and worked till what he wanted for him and his family became reality. He did this by working hard almost every day, doing whatever had to be done, and was nice to everyone.
Growing up very poor in Marshall forced him to put aside his wants and needs and work. He worked many jobs including sneaking out at night to wash dishes for food for him and his brothers. Forced to stop playing sports at because of his parents divorce after his freshman year was unfortunate reason, being it made school even harder than it ever had with no other focuses.
With no interests in college he dropped out to go to barber college. His great work ethic kept him working almost everyday for 40 years. He has cut my hair every hair cut in my life. As well as many important people like state representatives. His very personal job has helped him develop relationships with many people.
