Perhaps this isn't a conscious doing of our own, but because of the mighty pressure from the media surrounding us. Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were married for 72 days before filing for divorce. Britney Spears and Jason Alexander were married for 56 days after being married in Las Vegas. Today, divorce and splitting a family is normal; in fact, statistics show that it's abnormal to not get a divorce. An article was published quoting Brad Pitt, stating that he 'wasn't living an interesting life,' while he was with Jennifer Aniston. Kylie Jenner stated that she ‘’doesn’t think her sister Kendell is talented.’’ Everywhere you look is printed articles with these 'stars' betraying one another. The people that we consider as divine, and the people that are controlling our society through the media, are really the antagonists amongst us. No single person should not be worshipped eternally because they excel in their craft. In fact, it should be the other way around, for a person should be considered unperformed if they are not living out their purpose or attempting to make contributions’. We need politicians, lawyers, doctors, laborers, actors, waitresses, baristas, and it is each individual's responsibility to be the very best at what they do regardless of what they do. Brad Pitt’s expertise should not earn him immediate appraisal, because he is merely doing what he is supposed to be doing, and he is being great at it. Now I am not saying that we cannot admire our favorite actors or look up to our role models, but nobody deserves undying praise and worship because of profession, nor should anyone allow their ego to become them as they are fulfilling their purpose, and being who they were supposed to
