George Washington's Legacy And Accomplishments

Upon analysis of George Washington’s legacy and accomplishments, he is presented as a leader that defined the future of our country's in hard times even before it was a country and with dedication and commanding skills. When the United States was just thirteen colonies and trying to break off of the power of England, he was the commander of the Continental Army which all though not all battles were won But in the end we gained our independence. He hasn't only partaken in how the United States of America became a country; he motivated the country to become more united he became a symbol of hope for a better future for the Americans. He was collectively chosen to be the commander and what made George Washington look more humble is that he didn’t want to receive a salary since he understood the stress the war was causing in finances with everyone. but rather have him be paid at the end of the war for his costs .He was very experienced in the war zone as he was in charge of Virginia’s frontier forces and was a British Colonial Army officer.
