The presidents of the united states were all chosen for a reason, presidents were not randomly picked. However, the way each one acts, and the things each one do, make up their legacy. George Washington created this thing called a "citizen President" (Father of the nation, paragraph 3). Washington was the strongest president of the three because he didn't go based on rules and standards, but he made the rules and standards other presidents used till this day.
Washington was one of our best and strongest presidents because he knows what he's doing. He didn't swear by oath to become a commander and chief, he created the fact that the president is supposed to be a commander and chief in the army. Being the first president, he had nothing to go from, he was the first president, and he was highly respected. So after his second term he "decided not to serve a third term and returned, once again, to private life" (Father of the nation, paragraph 8). Washington wanted to go back to a normal simple life, instead of leading the whole nation, not because he was tired, but because he believed that "his time of being a citizen leader was over" (father of the nation, paragraph 3). Even though he had many strengths over Jefferson and Lincoln, Both Lincoln and Jefferson excelled in things that Washington never would have done. Lincoln, first of all, did something that African Americans were waiting for, for a long time. He freed the slaves, and slavery was completely banished. Also, Jefferson, was the reason of westward expansion, however the difference is Washington, focused on leading his people, before expanding the
