The Differences Of George Washington During The French And Indian War

What I learned from this unit is that Washington became known during the French and Indian war. George Washington did not take the time to find out what the French wanted before the battle begin and this was his first taste of battle during this battle many French tried to flee but they were quickly stopped by Washington’s Indian allies and later surrendered. The Indian half king killed and scalped the dead and injured witch Washington did not know this caused war to spread around the world. In spring 1752 two years prior to the French and Indian war, the forks of the Ohio causes many problem because both the English and French want to claim it but it is already home to the Indians. The French want action. The British send an exposition because if French won they would never be allowed to travel eastward. The British picked 22 year old George Washington to lead in the exposition, a 500mile journey just as winter sets in. The following spring the English began to build their trading port but British quickly stop this making the half king furious. Washington on his way back to the port finds out he was too late this is when he decides to confront the British becoming allies with the half king. After the battle Washington finds out he is in charge of the injured British man, who is then killed by the half king because it’s a warning to the French and he knows he will not be blamed for it Washington would be causing the French and Indian war.
