Throughout American history, many brave men and women have done many things to make America what she is today. George Washington is one of those brave men. He was a very great man and did many things throughout his life for America. George Washington was born in Virginia on February 22, 1732. in Philadelphia on May 1775 he was elected to command the American army. Major Washington was sent to Fort LeBoeuf to warn the French to leave the land claimed by Britain , in 1773. At the age of 23 Washington was made commander of all virginia troops. Throughout George Washington he has done many good things for everyone.He was a very brave man, for his people in America.
