Abstract
George W. Bush was accepted into Yale University in 1964. In 1968 Bush enlisted into the Texas Air National Guard and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and earned his fighter pilot certification during June of 1970.
George W. Bush was discharged from the reserves on November 21, 1974 and it was questioned if he fulfilled his military obligation.
Bush earned a masters of business administration Degree in 1975. In 1989 Bush joined a group of investors in purchasing the Texas Rangers Baseball team.

Bush was put through a very hard time with the attacks on September of 2001 the nation was attacked and everyone was looking to him for clarity and unity. In his final years the U.S. was hit with a credit crisis leading to unemployment and massive debt. At the same time the U.S. was in two foreign wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bush excelled at Yale University. Bush became president of a fraternity and part of Yale’s secretive Skull and Bones Society. After Bush graduated from Yale he continued his education and went to Harvard for business. Bush earned a masters of business administration Degree in 1975. After college he returned to Midland to enter the oil business with a friend.
George W. Bush joined the Texas Air National Guard. He enlisted in 1968 and at the time the Vietnam War was at its height (Biography.com editors, 2015). He was accepted even with the long waiting list because of help from a family friend. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant , and he earned his fighter pilot certification during June of 1970. Bush was discharged from the Air Force Reserves on November 21 ,1974 it was questioned if he fulfilled his military obligation (Biography.com editors, 2015). Bush was married to Laura Welch in 1977. Before he got married he had a few embarrassing encounters with alcohol (Biography.com editors, 2015). Soon after marrying Laura he joined the United Methodist Church and became a Christian (Biography.com editors, 2015). In 1981 the Bush’s had twin daughters Barbara and Jenna. Bush credits Laura for getting his life back in line from the alcohol
