Imagine seeing your best friend, go out and kill another human being. But, now you can 't be on his side to back him up. You were obligated to make him pay for what he had done. For many, this may sound fictional or very unrealistic. But for George Milton this was the case. George has been taking care of Lennie for quite a long time, ever since Aunt Clara asked George too. Lennie has always been unintelligent and unaware of his surroundings. However, what Lennie had done took it too an extreme level. Lennie had killed the wife of Curley. George and the guys at the ranch and had found out, and Curley was furious, he wanted revenge. George was obligated to pull the trigger. There is no doubt that George had done the right thing by killing Lennie. This claim is complete bogus, and here why. As previously stated, George killing lennie would mean much more to both of them, then a person who doesn 't have a bond with neither of them. Also, Curley killing Lennie would result in a greater amount of physical pain to Lennie, because Curley was going to shoot him in the gut, and the pain would be long lasting. While George was going to kill him quickly, which would result in less pain. Therefore, George undoubtedly made the right right decision.

George 's decision reflects how an Individual is obligated to others by describing how as humans we are obligated to not allow the people close to us to suffer tremendously, and if one close to us were to suffer, it would have to be in our own hands. It is very important to take away you are obligated to provide the best support you can for you loved loves. Never to let them suffer for something that is not important. George made the right decision and certainly will not regret

This caused him to get kicked out of his old town of weed. Many people have wondered should George have shot Lennie? While I am upset that he shot Lennie, after thinking for awhile I think that he made the right decision. One reason that I think this is because if they tried to run away together they would have eventually been caught. Partly due to the fact that they are dealing with a murder more people will be looking for them and they didn’t get a very big head start. If they did escape though they would be looking over their shoulder and lived a unhappy fearful life.…

George made the right decision by shooting Lennie Because. George did not want Lennie to suffer for what curly had in store for him so think of Lennie death as a mercy kill fast and less suffering also if George wouldn't have shot Lennie he could get tortured in many different ways. But most people say that George and Lennie should have run away instead of killing Lennie. My first reason that George should have taken Lennie life is that first of all. If Lennie had tried to escape with George both of the men would be considered wanted so it would be hard to have any type of job or place to live because their reputation would be murderers, But George thought that running away would be a bad idea so he did not want Lennie to deal with all this so he took his life.…

In the novella, Of Mice and Men I believe that George was a good friend to Lennie. Friendship is when you are by someone's side, through thick and thin. George and Lennie were good examples of friendship because they were always by each others side, even though they may not have gotten along at times. Unfortunately, Lennie isn't so bright, so George has taken on the role of not only being his companion but his caretaker as well. In the novella George and Lennie have gotten into trouble a number of times, but this one time may or may not have depicted whether he was a good friend or not.…
