Bonds between people: In the dystopian world known as 1984, the government manipulated their citizens to their own advantage by restricting the bonds people had developed with family, friends and within themselves. It would be quite difficult to change a natural action that every single human feels; people cannot even repress their own feelings if they do not want to feel them.
