George H.W Bush was born on June 12,1924 in Milton, Massachusetts (Millercenter.org). George had two parents, and Prescott Bush, who was a serious man the kids were afraid of him when he was mad, and Dorothy Bush who was pretty and kind. George had four siblings who he got along with. On George's 18 birthday, George enlisted to be in the Navy. He served as a combat pilot in World War II and 58 other combat missions. In one of his missions he had almost died when his plan had gotten hit during a bombing mission.(bio.com). He had been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his flying.(bio.com) George was always brave. When George left, he got married to Barbara Pierce who he met at a Christmas dance in November 6th, 1945(pbs.org). George H.W Bush went to three schools: Davenport, Phillips Academy, and Yale University (Whitehouse.gov).George always wanted to be a leader. On June 12, 1924 he became the student leader at Philips Academy.( George has had three jobs. He has worked as a businessman, an entrepreneur, and has had his own oil company(millercenter.org). More than 1,800 people died and a thousand were left without a home. Next a tsunami swept across several Asian and African countries. There were at least 225,000 people killed Some people were left homeless(George HW Bush). George was the most qualified candidate to assume the office(Millercenter.org). He is still found relevant today. George helped more people like when the first gulf war in 1990-1991 happened. According to Miller Center Iraq invaded Kuwait on the second of August.(miller center.org) George helped those who were helped since he learned it from being in the Navy for so long George still did not helping after that George and his wife Barbara helped raise money for cancer
