Geometry & Animals Project: Pig A pig is also referred to as a “hog” or “swine”. Pigs rank among the most intelligent of the tamed animals. Pigs roll around in mud to cool themselves during warm times. Their habitats are usually a grassland. They mainly eat roots, seeds, and leaves. They weigh around three hundred to seven hundred pounds. They can be about twenty to fortyseven inches long. They are usually two feet tall. Pigs are pretty slow animals; they walk at eleven meters per hour.
