Gentle Hub Research Paper

The date is 11 Oct 3301 and I started my voyage from the Gentle Hub at Gunnovale to the Pleiades System. I figured that since this star system is widely known (maybe) in real life I would go there first to test the waters. I ran my pre-flight checklist, snacks...check, lemon ice tea...check...fuel scooper...check, spare space suit....check. I set four pips to engines two pips to systems, turned off shields and shield boosters and other non-essential modules and left on the good stuff. I had the map set for fastest route as I wasn't trying to take the scenic route. Moving on...I checked the others surrounding areas, Merope, Atlas and the others. I made sure I checked them good too, no stone left un-turned, no planet left unscanned. Speaking of which I found several more planets mainly rich in metal even though I was hoping to find a planet that was Earth like but nope. Did get the crap scared out of me though, started seeing a orb follow my canopy around and I knew that there had to be a black hole around somewhere. Didn't know where and wasn't about to risk accidentally running into one. I spent a good two hours exploring so I was fairly happy with what I saw. I debated for a little while on heading back to the port to call it a day but I decided not to and proceeded to press forward to my next destination, Taurus Dark Region, to see what it held in store for me.
