Leadership theories have shifted from focusing on management functions and economic leader-follower exchanges toward interpersonal dynamics occurring within the leadership process (Hannah, Sumanth, Lester, & Cavarretta, 2014, p. 598). New genre theories have been introduced to address critical interpersonal components of leadership were previously grossly undervalued. Two important new genre models that have become an integral and dynamic part of leadership are spiritual and authentic leadership.
Spiritual Leadership

In addition, business environments require attitudes and behaviors that facilitate diversity. Spiritual leaders foster the values of diversity, which leads to inclusion. Spiritual leadership also promotes diversity through spirituality insights and cultural contexts according to universal human values (Khiabani, Abdizadeh, & Baroto, 2016).
