The Armenian Genocide took place during World War I when the Ottoman Empire’s government sought to systematically rid the nation of the Armenian people. In 1913, A nationalist political group at the time which referred to themselves as the “Young Turks” took total control of the government and sought to reform the country in a religious and militant way. Hitler orchestrated the discrimination of the Jewish people by relying heavily on Propaganda. Hitler and his propaganda blamed the Jews for the loss of World War I and the collapse of the German economy. At the same time Hitler asserted his belief in an Aryan “master race” which was coincidentally opposite of the Jewish ethnicity. Hitler claimed that the Jewish people were responsible for the oppression of this master race.
