HPV,also commonly known as Genital warts is a very common virus that can last for a long time.Sometimes the virus can even last for year,or even life long!There are 100 types of HPV,but only 70 types of HPV affect the genitals,the other types can affect normal skin with common warts like plantar warts.This virus is most commonly found in people who are sexually active,that are not practicing safe sex.Practicing safe sex will not stop the virus from getting to you,it will just lower the chances of you getting the virus.
For HPV the signs and symptoms are genital warts.Genital warts can appear on the anus,cervix,scrotum,groin,penis,and even the thigh!Another symptom that happens if HPV is “active”(meaning that it causes the host cell to make new viruses),it can change the cells in the woman’s cervix.When that happens the woman would need a PAP smear.A PAP smear is a test that is carried out on a sample of cells from the
