What is genetic testing? According to Genetics Home Reference “Genetic testing is a type of medical test that identifies changes in chromosomes, genes, or proteins.” As the result of genetics home reference “more than 1,000 genetic tests are currently in use and more are being developed.” There are different kinds of genetic tests. To tell the truth am never checked any of kind genetic tests, but I believe people should get new born screening and diagnostic testing. One of the reason people have to take new born screening because if they know what kind genetic it`s affect them it can be treated early in life. Second one is diagnostic testing.
