Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) is harmful to the environment and for human consumption. Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) is one of the most important issues affecting our planet. GMOs are special organisms in which the genetic material has been altered for improved productivity and product quality. GMOs have raised concerns over their own beneficial factor they are resistant to disease, help humans suffering from famine, produce greater yields, and improve the nutrition of foods. Having food is very important to human life to maintain good health and to survive. For some people, there really no thought during the process of acquiring food, whether one is buying something that contains harmful ingredients and will ultimately effect health. The us food and drug Administration (FDA), for example doesn’t require a single safety study they also do not mandate labeling of GMO’S and allow companies to put their GM foods onto the market without even notifying the agency. The FDA justification was that they claimed they had no information showing that GM foods were substantially different. This proves to be true when visiting the grocery store take the time to look at the label one will see that there are ingredients that contain GMO content that no different from those stating “non-gmo”.
