Genetically Modified Foods Genetically Modified Foods is what the future of this world will look like. Many people are not well informed about the beneficial facts GMOs can bring to our health, the farming environments, and world hunger. Genetic modification can transform the number of nutrients we put in our body, can cooperate with rapid climate changes, and most importantly, will solve the major conflict of world hunger. What are GMOS? Where did they come from? GMOS represent genetically modified organisms. In 1935, a Russian isolated pure DNA, then rDNA followed in 1973. In 1975 the Asilomar Conference occurred, where biologists came together to find the safe use of genetically engineered DNA. Then finally in 1982, the FDA approved their first GMO and within twelve years, GMOs hit the grocery stores.
Our nutritional value is one of the most important necessities humans put into their bodies in order to have a stupendous health. Genetically modified foods can provide a wide variety of foods to help humans grow strongly and properly. These specific foods can decrease malnutrition in a bodies health and can be a worldwide solution to the lack of nutrition. Micronutrient malnutrition is a global conflict and affects more than one half of humanity. The gene technologies permit the productions of a diverse amount of new crops. Those specific crops produce the necessary number of nutrients and vitamins. A humans health can go downhill when one is diagnosed with a disease.…
