The movie, Gattaca, displays an example of how the world would be like in the future if it were more advanced with the choice of genetic modification. In the movie, the main character, Vincent, was identified at birth that he had larger chance of having disorders and a shorter lifespan, this was due to how Vincent wasn’t genetically modified. The fact that Vincent had these risks led to his parents panicking and having another child, Anton.
