Children’s already face a lot of difficulties in today’s society. Their parents set standards for them. For example, most Asian parents set unbelievably high standard. Their children always have to make good grade. Their children bring home an eighty-six; their parents tell them to do better. Next time, the children bring home a ninety-six; their parents tell them to do better again. Their parents keep telling them to do better. The children cannot make a higher grade than a hundred, but they still tell them to improve. Making all hundreds is hard because humans are not perfect and a one hundred is the perfect score. Children feel pressured, stressed, and judged, that is why they inflict self harm and commit suicide.
