Furthermore, I hope to participate in research that reduces the occurrence of fatal genetic conditions using gene therapy along with research that limits occurrences of physical anomalies that serve as hindrances to others for entire lifetimes. I acknowledge certain scientific boundaries should be carefully scrutinized or not crossed when they present strong risks of detrimental effects, but I am also a supporter of pushing the limits of scientific study and comprehending the effects that one’s bodily components can have.
