Good morning Carol,

I have a pet myself and I use a flea and tick combo medication, my veterinarian recommended Trifexis. My puppy had a severe reaction to it and was hospitalized, the vet and myself reached out to Trifexis explained the situation and they assisted me with covering the medical bills. After Iggy recovered the vet and myself agreed that the best option for flea and tick prevention was the generic brand, Iggy has not have any reactions since. In my opinion some medication the generic medication is equally effective as the brand medication. There are some medical conditions that require a specific medication that the brand is most effective however, there are concerns by patients, nurses, and physicians if generic medications
