Generativity is the ability or concern to be useful to self and the society, with the aim of being productive and creative.in this stage, a person aims at guiding the future generation. In the late adulthood, individuals tend to engage themselves in certain activities to increase their generativity. Parenting is one of the activities adults involve themselves in. People in this stage act as role models and teach their children good morals. Doing charitable works is another activity that individuals in this stage do. They achieve this by visiting the sick, helping the poor, and proving food for the hungry.
