Buzz, Buzz is the sound that makes us think of honey and that makes us think of a bear named Winnie the Pooh. Winnie The Pooh was first published in 1926. It was written by Alan Alexander Milne and illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard (“The). The characters in Milne’s stories are based on his son’s toys and Ashdown Forest in Sussex, near Milne’s home, served as inspiration for Hundred Acre Wood (“Winnie). The characters of Winnie The Pooh are said to show signs of numerous disorders such as Binge Eating Disorder in Winnie the Pooh, Generalized Anxiety Disorder in Piglet, and Major Depressive Disorder in Eeyore. First, characters, Winnie the Pooh, is also known as Pooh or Pooh Bear. He is a small golden bear who wears an old red shirt. He has a great love for honey and is always hungry for it or a ‘smackeral’ of whatever little something is at hand to soothe the ‘rumbly in his tumbly’. He enjoys singing hums while adventuring in the Hundred Acre Wood. He is not the brightest of bears, but he’s definitely the friendliest (“Winnie). …show more content…
BED consists of recurrent and persistent episodes are associated with at least three of the following: eating rapidly, eating until feeling beyond full, eating a large amount of food when not physically hungry, being embarrassed by how much one is eating, and feeling bad about oneself afterwards (Marx). Winnie the Pooh seems to have an eating disorder because he is always hungry for “hunny” and binging on it. Pooh has quoted “The only reason for being a bee is to make honey, and the only reason to make honey, is so I can eat it”
