For customer facing projects, General Tool Company uses a rigorous quality plan establishment process to make sure that projects are properly scoped, and that the customer requirements are met. The article describes one instance that one of the quality metrics, the supplier score card, helped the project stay on track. The score card was an indicator for the company that they were getting into trouble.
