The most effective supervisor would communicate effectively with their staff. Supervisor will keep staff informed on changes or growth within an organization. They are aware of the value of listening both for building cooperative relationships avoiding tension and grievances. They have patience, self-assured and self-control in a professional setting. Supervisors carry themselves in appropriate manner (Remley & Herlihy, 2016). Guidance is provided to incoming employees, teach job requirements and evaluate rather than getting involved in doing the work itself. Supervisors treat employers equal, respect boundaries, honesty and supervise growth. Divide the work material evenly, shows no favoritism and consistently enforce the policies and procedures. Supervisors uplifted and give employees the opportunities to build their esteem. Supervisors gain trust and loyalty to represent the group to higher management, regardless of agreement or disagreement with them. Companies have ethical responsibilities beyond obeying laws, enforcing company policies and ensuring profitability. Those responsibilities begin at the top and extend down the chain of command to direct supervisors. “Ethical supervisors share crucial information, build morale and avoid shifting blame during crisis moments” (ACA, 2005).They communicate clear expectations and keep workers informed about upcoming changes, especially those affecting work availability. Ethical conduct makes the best use of resources. “Money, time, and effort are put into productive activities rather than diverted for questionable purposes or personal gain.
