My biggest failure in life was in my first semester at Fanshawe College. During my Strategies for Success course I was to submit an assignment in paper to the professor and did so on time and did very well on it. Later after the semester was done I deleted all work from that class as I needed extra space on my laptop. Of course the teacher lost my assignment and gave me a zero since she had nothing to mark. I learned to always back up my work and think twice before ever deleting something on my computer. This is an invaluable practice in the coding industry.

However, the fact that “I know nothing” is falling more into the verbal harassment category. First I would approach him and tell him that his comments are unwelcome and I’d appreciate it if he would stop. If afterwards it continues, I would keep a record of when he said anything demeaning to me and go to his manager/upper management with my concerns.
