My Experience and Knowledge Concerning Musky Fishing
“There you go Austin, reel it in!” my dad said. We were fishing for walleye off a dock at Clear Lake, Iowa. I was only 9 years old. I knew that whatever I had on the line was big, but I had no idea that it would be the first musky I'd ever seen or caught. The fish was mediocre size, having a length of only 31 inches. I realized this was a perfect opportunity to enlighten myself about the best information I could find about muskies and musky fishing. So, with this in mind, I began to compile some questions that I thought needed to be answered.

What weather do they like? What kind of food do they eat? What's the best lure to catch them? What's the best rod and reel to get one to the boat? What's the best technique of musky fishing? How big do musky lures get? Also, what makes Muskies so elusive?
I combined all of the points of my questions into what I believed to be a broad yet specific research question: What's the best technique, equipment, weather, and environment to catch big musky in? After my research, I found a complete answer to my question.
