My goal as Author/Speaker would be: Letting my General Manager know that I’m qualified for the position, and I’m interested.
The general manager would be my audience. Their looking for someone to fill the Supervisor position. The characteristics would be trying to find someone qualified, stabile, handles stress and ready for a multi-tasking job with variety of duties.
Genre type: paper and physical contact- having qualifications down on paper but physically talking with the General Manager about my duties and responsibilities and showing interest in the new position.
I would start by, “Asking for a moment of their time?” I would be firm and upfront about the supervisor position. Stating, I’m interested. I would hand my resume
