Introduction
Organizations have different strategies, components, techniques, culture, values and other elements that define them, their objectives and goals. For an organization to operate effectively, it has to be managed and operated with appropriate strategies while considering the goals and objectives in place. Some of the critical organization’s plan for managing diversity include energy efficiency, energy conservation, increased resources, renewable resources, more diversity programs and investing more in boosting the welfare of the society (Milligan, 2006). For diversity management, the organization also has plans to enhance cultural integration, managing generational difference, reducing negative environmental impacts embracing modern technology and developing leaders that can help solve future challenges. The organization also holds annual summits which focuses on sustainability and cultivating ways of dealing with challenges that affect employees, management, the society and the organization at large. Diversity management in the company has impacted employees because it is team-driven, supportive, challenging, enriching and unique. Diversity management provides inclusion at the workplace as well as embracing equal employment opportunities. PGE does not discriminate employees based on national origin, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion and much more. This aspect assists in enhancing diverse culture and inclusiveness in the organization and therefore enhance a good working environment. Diversity management also engages diversity programs which ensure that employees are developed, trained and cultivated to become innovative. There is also sponsorship and improved experience which ensure that employees are satisfied and achieve their highest goals.
