General Anxiety Disorder
Almost everybody has experienced some sort of anxiety in their life. What many people don 't realize is that anxiety is a completely normal thing to experience. If you start to experience excessive uncontrollable anxiety you should seek help. General anxiety disorder is defined as a common anxiety disorder, characterized by a pervasive , excessive, hard to control state of anxiety or worry that lasts at least 6 months.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder is the experience of long-term anxiety with no explanation. Symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder come from six major systems of the body. They include the cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, respiratory, genitourinary, musculoskeletal, and nervous systems. You 'll start to experience many different symptoms and you 'll have no idea why.
There is a difference between “Normal” worry and having a generalized anxiety disorder. “Normal” worry is when you 're worrying does not get in the way of your everyday life, you can still get through your normal daily activities and responsibilities, you seem to have almost completely control over your worrying, your worrying may be very unpleasant but will not cause distress and you 're worrying tends to only last for a short amount of time and can be seen as realistic by others.
