This editorial is about the vicissitudes of the outstanding bassist, Paul Chambers. He started off performing classical music, which led to the school symphony orchestra and various ensembles. Then, he would discover be-bop. This article was of no assistance. The article did not discuss any drug abuse or why Chamber died at a young age. Although, Guy’s biggest accomplishment was not on the trumpet; it was being Billie Holiday’s man. He played with Teddy Hill's Orchestra after Dizzy Gillespie, however, his career would be brief. He did play with several other artist, however, he was not on their level. Although, Guy was only in his early twenties at the time. Eventually, he would be busted for drug possession and get lock up. Unfortunately, Guy would die broke and living in obscurity at the age of forty-one. This article supports the editorial on Billie Holiday. It is reliable and objective. It ties in to the other research and was extremely helpful. It would be a good resource for a project about drug use in
