This article explains how male adolescent boys show’s their masculinity when the term “fag” becomes attach to them for a longer period of time. Having the term fag associate to your identify does not necessarily mean that you are a fag, anyone can be a fag. The fag disclosure does not mean you are a fag it is actually the opposite of homophobia. You can be straight and still be label as a fag, such as the boys in the article. The instructions for roles are embedded in narratives (the scripts for the specific role) and they provide the understandings that make role entry, performance, and exit plausible.
